Exmoor National Park offers some 267 square miles of changing and varied landscapes with a spectacular coastline, sweeping open moorland, ancient oak forests to pretty chocolate box villages.

This magical landscape, a home to varied wildlife, is popular with walkers, horse riders, cyclists or those looking for a relaxing break in tranquil surroundings.

Exmoor has plenty to please the eye and challenge the mind and body. Get close to nature with herds of wild red deer and Exmoor ponies. Heritage and culture abound with castles, ancient ports, paddle steamers and the West Somerset Steam Railway. There is a bustling calendar of events throughout the year.

For families there are plenty of attractions and activities around the area. Spend a day exploring some of the local beauty spots, visit the nearby golden beaches of North Devon, or take an Exmoor Safari.
